Utility Trailers

Cargo Craft has built over one-million trailers since its start in 1990.  A family owned and operated business with 45+ years in towable and RV manufacturing expertise. Cargo Craft has built a solid reputation in the industry as producers of quality products that they stand behind.  Their end users range from small businesses to large corporations that include food service, oilfield service, utility, construction, and many other companies with mobile and remote service needs. The quality assurance team carefully inspects and road tests all trailers prior to shipping in order to guarantee consistency and quality. 

Trailer Depot of Sarasota always stocks a range of Cargo Craft utility trailers.  They vary from small single-axle trailers to 7,000 pound GVWR tandem-axle trailers. Additionally, we can custom order any size and configuration to meet your individual requirements. We don’t sell the cheesy angle-iron or c-channel utility trailers. Shake the deck of the other trailers, then come see the quality difference. You’ll know right away that our utility trailers are a step up. “You’ve seen the rest…….Now pull the best!”

All our 7,000-pound tandem trailers are equipped with electric brakes. We won’t sell them any other way. Watch out for dealers selling tandem trailers without brakes. You will end up with a trailer legally rated for only 2,990 pounds.

Bike Hauler – “Chariot”

These “concept” trailers from Cargo Craft are specially designed for the motorcycle and ATV enthusiast. Special features set them apart from our standard utility trailers, but built to the same exacting standards shown above.

• Drop axles lower the deck height and entry angle
• Bi-fold tailgate reduces drag for long trips
• Front mud/stone guard keeps your valuable toy protected from flying objects thrown up by the towing vehicle
• Extra tie-downs along the sides and center for flexibility
• 6-1/2 foot wide deck for side-by-side motorcycles or large ATV’s

Irrigation Installation Trailer

We’re not sure if this should be classified as a utility trailer or an equipment trailer, because it’s both. Cargo Craft developed this trailer at the request of one of our customers. They needed a specialized trailer large and heavy enough to carry everything needed for large irrigation installations, including a large trencher. We’re very proud of this specific, yet versatile, trailer. This is not a trailer we will be stocking because we think it may have many variations to custom tailor design for similar, but not exact, usage. This particular variant is equipped as follows: Most of these specifications can be altered.

• 14,000-pound GVWR
• 7′ x 18′ pressure treated deck
• Tandem American-made spring axles with electric brakes
• 2 x 21′ top boxes for full sticks of pipe
• 2 x 18′ middle boxes
